Wtf IGN
Seriously? a 4.0 because of a bug? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cry babies. This game deserves at least an 8, 9 in my opinion because we finally have something that is hard and back to unstatic video games with things to do. Bugs are bound to happen, so why review a game because of a bug that occurred? Don't get it.

Like if you get a bug, and don't feel like even finishing the review, pass it on to someone else or play the console version then. Every game will always have some sort of bug.

&*%$ IGN

88% among Steam users
88% on metacritic BEFORE the IGN review (now down to 79%)

Yet he is the only one talking about gamebreaking bugs lol, what a joke.
This game guy also gave Doom 2016 a 7/10 lol, this is why no one likes IGN.

Dark Souls 1 and ARkham knight had terrible PC versions on day 1 and MANY MANY people had those issues, not just one random reviewer from IGN.

This reviewer and website are just looking to get as many views as they can.

I agree it's hypocritical when they allow other garbage get away with way worse release issues (horrible optimization, game breaking glitches, microtransactions, etc). It's pretty much a joke when IGN gives this game a low score because of something that has already been patched, when they give other bethesda games (which release in a way worse state) glowing reviews. But the main takeaway from this, in my opinion, is that it doesn't matter and it's arbitrary and meaningless. Who cares about their review?

The issue is that these reviews affect how publishers push future games. That a poor review here might mean that Arkane's next pitch doesn't quite make it because they didn't meet certain metacritic quotas.

That instead we'll get more games that play it safe and stupid.
As a fan of Arkane Studios im really sad to hear this. All this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ negativity and crybabies whining about difficulty will ensure that we'll never get another cool game like Prey\Dishonored 1\Dark Mesiah in near future... or maybe ever.

Reading this forum makes me sick. Not because people have different opinion, but because how dumb some of them are.

88% on Steam for ENGLISH language!!!

91% if you filter all languages :)

That is 91% from well over 4000 gamers around the world!!!

♥♥♥♥ you Dan and IGN!

IGN are terrible reviewers anyway. They gave Sonic Unleashed a 4.5/10, Alien Isolation a 5.9/10, and Doom a 7.1/10 (seriously? Doom deserved more than that).

Remember kids, you can't spell ignorant without IGN.

They must have been pretty scared if they gave 5.9 for alien :D

The main reason why they gave it a negative review was because the Alien AI was "so good that it was frustrating". I am not joking.:steamfacepalm:

IGN is a serious joke, this is almost as bad as their Alien: Isolation review....
Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't the IGN priсks behind that "Too much water" review? :SmartAss:

What? Reviewer mentions Prey has game breaking bug that makes it impossible to continue playing and you somehow conclude that all our future games will now be sh!t because devs play "safe and stupid". Like how do you think games work? There is no "playing safe", there is always bugs.
I'm saying that when publishers consider which projects to push and which projects to cancel, things like metacritic review scores are used in that decision making process. If a game of a particular genre doesn't review well, other games like it (and games by that developer) will likely get downplayed over types of games that do review well.

So when a SS2 style RPG-Shooter reviews poorly, it could very well mean that more traditional CoD style shooters might be pushed instead.
