But it will certainly cut down on them when the game's trying to go all "See now natural these enemy counts are?" by making a Weaver rez some jumped up fancy phantoms. So that can be worth the effort since those guys are jerks.
A lesser version of the situation with mimics for most of the game I guess? While they are all "They multiply by eating bodies" and they show that off with some scripted snacks. Most of the game it's situations like seeing a room full of 4+ Mimics scurrying around. and they will all ignore the fresh non face melted dead body flopped over a desk.
I've never seen a weaver create mimics from bodies. I don't think it can happen. Bodies are actually ammo for the player (not the typhon) to use with the Phantom Genesis skill.
