Defaults to Southpaw?
So I downloaded the demo and the controller config defaults to southpaw, and when I go to configure it, brings up Steam big picture and says it chose southpaw based on my previous controller configuration preferences even though I've specifically disabled Steam's controller config options and never used them for any game. Ever.

WTF.

And to top it all off, the standard controller config has a broken title? Whatever happened to in-game options instead of forcing us to use Valve's terrible TV interface?

i don't use big picture but my gamepad is automatically in southpaw mode, which make it unplayable to me. And i don't find a way to go back to a standard layout. If you find something give me a head up

I don't use big picture mode either, but for some reason this game automatically uses the big picture overlay (at least for me), even if I launch the game from the desktop.

To change the controller layout, you have to go into options>controller in the game and then click view controller options or something (I just uninstalled the demo so I can't check the actual wording). It should bring up the steam controller options. The normal controller layout is labeled xb1_default or something like that.

I was just in the game options and found no way to change it out of Southpaw. The only options there were to turn on or off button prompts and to show what the buttons were.

for me, it was the cheap xbox1 gamepad, i plugged an x360 and it work. but it's a bummer.
and to improve the sensitivity you need to change the mouse slider (it's unplayable with the default setting)

I have the official Xbox One controller, and I tried both the original model and the updated Xbox One S controller.
