Where is the IT Security door code found?

I've seen a number of door/safe code guides that list the actual code for the IT Security doors in the lobby but I can never seem to find any information on where said code is found.

Where is the code found?

I believe it's not in the game. There are a lot of codes/passwords in the game files which cannot be found in the game.

Yes, everything can be found with an XML editor. There are tons of codes/passwords which cannot be found by just playing the game. I spent lots of hours exploring Talos and though I may have missed something I'd say I have covered all levels completely.

Some are hiden well but every single one can be found without* XML as far i know

IT Security is very late in the game I think. I'm not sure

If you want to get into IT Security though (the room with all the servers right?) you can go through Maintenance Access and break the glass at the top to drop down into the room

The Lobby has two staircases, the one that leads to your office and that other staircase by the restrooms. Go up to the top of that staircase by the restrooms and go through Maintenance Access

it is fun to break the glass ceiling out and then toss exploding tanks down on the phantoms. Just be sure to break a LARGE hole in the glass, or your medkit supply will take the hit.

But as an IT engineer the funniest part about the IT Security manager office is there's no terminal.

IT Security is only accessible if you deliberately go out of your way to kill everyone on the station. Once you have progressed far enough through the story and the four people listed as being hidden in there are the only ones left, you will gain access.

If you do not do this, there is no way inside. Fun fact, those four people are not actually spawned at all if you are not trying to kill everyone.

For the main IT section sure, or you can smash open the glass ceiling and drop down, surprising the two phantoms inside. But for where the four hiding people are, going full murderer is your only option.

Unless we're talking about different places, of course. It's possible, I can't remember the names of every location on Talos I.

You're talking about the closet inside IT, he's just talking about the exterior IT doors
