Prey
Confirmed - Easier way to do Split Affinity and No Needles
So Prey won't give you No Needles and Split Affinity in the same run by saving / reloading / finishing under the different conditions required for the achievements. However, there is a way to get them based off the same save.
1) Get to the end of the game under No Needles conditions (don't inject any neuromods)
2) Save right before pushing the last button (whichever ending you choose)
3) Finish and get No Needles to pop
4) Reload and finish with either only human or typhon abilities installed
5) Exit Prey and go into your save folder. Copy your saves from whatever slot you're using (titled "CampaignX" where X is the slot) into another Campaign folder (make sure it's empty).
6) Delete the "NewGamePlus.arkend" file in the folder.
7) Open Prey and load the save from the slot you just copied into
8) Finish the game with either human or typhon neuromods - opposite of what you did in step 4
9) WHAMO, Split Affinity should pop.

Hopefully that helps someone. I've played through several times, and as fun as the game is, I just didn't want to put the game on easy and spend about another ~6 hours playing through AGAIN just to pop Split Affinity.

OK, but given that you need to go through the game twice trying to save and kill all the humans respectively, isn't it also easier just to do one of those neuromods runs at the same time? All human neuromods - save all humans. All Typhon neuromods - kill all humans. BAM! Split Affinity among other achievements. And then you can do a No Needles run in your own time.

No need to go jumping around your files like an epileptic grasshopper in a disco.

Honestly, it depends on how you play. For me, I played through 3 times. My first playthrough, I wanted to experience all of Prey, making decisions based on what sounded the most fun. Saving all the humans was a challenge (instead of shooting them all), so I saved them all, but I wanted to mix and match neuromods, so I didn't meet any of the three criteria (human only, typhon only, and none). So, it was worth it for me to spend 3 minutes copying/editing/removing files to not have to play a fourth time through (~6 hours or so) just to pop the achievement.

Or just do a no needle run, finish it, get the achievement, reload it, finish it with typhon abilities then do another run with human abilities solely. After so many runs it should be a breeze to just run through the whole game.

This doesn't seem to work anymore, I've tried several times to get it to work. I Have one campaign with human mods, one with Typhon mods and one without any mods. Did it get patched recently?
