The difficulty in Mooncrash works like Risk of Rain, the longer you stay in the game, the harder it gets, but unlike RoR you can lower it down by using a certain item.

wrong ,while corruption levels do increas difficulty, the base difficulty raises the more main objectives you compleat , such as; different ways you have escaped, how many crew members you have unlocked, how many of them you have escaped with in a single run , and how much of their stories you have compleated. also the environmental hazzards tend to be RNG(random number generated) based and the map tends to change such as cave ins preventing you from using the same game plan more than once

imoa the game is way too hard and is desighned to never be beaten damage taken is too high from both monsters and hazzards and you reach a point of progress where environmental hazzards (flooding and electrical damage, fires, radiation nodes), and map changing(cave ins, broken staircasses, ect)are gerenteed at corruption lvl 1.so id give it a 2 star ratting untill the base difficulty is lowered

The only thing that changes then is the new mechanics being added, enemy difficulty is still rising only by the time you spent in the same run. If you find problem solving a difficulty then go for it, I don't, and the fact you can spawn in with any item you found a blueprint for so far makes it even easier.

lol i like how ppl like you dont know what they are talking about and end up spreding misinformation. like you lack observation skills .. also attacking me as an individual (like my lack of problem solving) is all you can do you have alredy lost the argument. if the game is to hard it isnt fun thats just me. ppl who like hard games sould have a choce to play on a harder difficulty.

and unless you can datamine the game files its your word versus mine

btw iv seen ppl who claim they like real hard games, but will start ddosing the moment their hard core cheracter they been working on for yeas dies because of rng or new michanics from a patch, or a bug.

and fyi i dont play hard core

You said my information was wrong then immediately say it is true basically negating and approving my comment at once, you lost me then and there, not sure how you felt attacked either.

lol when i pointed out you lack of observation skills it was stating an observation
when you sead i lack the ability to problem solve you assumed i was unable to cope with the hazzards and map changes insinuating that i just suck. i know how to climb stuff if stairs break, i know how to use glue gun to stop electric and fire hazzards, i know how to use boltcaster to disable thyphon detection barriors when playing the valenteer, i kill telepaths and technopaths with ease i go back and farm the moonshark every corruption level, but its goten to the point of difficulty where it is no longer fun(feels bad, like a chore) and yes i use sp i have like 140k total atm.

i like games i can relax while playing as its my wind down time

and a tip dont buy medkits buy t-rations they are only 12 points of hp below a med kit and only cost 100

Thats not what he said. He said he didnt find that problem solving was difficult. Stop playing the victim you overreacted.

i actualy tested i deleated my save data 5 times to reset the dificulty just so i can enjoy playing and the moonshark appears in the next playthrough after you escape with the valenteer and environmental hazzards start apearing after you escape with the engeneer and then the staircases seem to fal and tunnles cave in once you escape with both valenteer and engenear in one run. and the hazzards and map changing doubles after unlocking the a third crew member. its fun untill fire starts killing you in 2 seconds of exposure with 150 hp and junction boxes 3 hit you (fire hazzards/ electric hazzards) hel the cipsets dont help much by that point ether. wasnt me actualy testing i just wanted to have fun playing so i reset my saves but all that info was from what i observed doing so

It's clearly easier than the base game, at least once you know what you're expected to do: you can get so much stuff done early on so that the difficulty level never really gets that high. I finished the base game on hard and it never felt like Mooncrash reached that difficulty.
