(Mooncrash) I thought dying resets the simulation.

So I was playing as the engineer lady and found the security guard but it was almost corruption level 5 and I still couldn't find out how to escape so I died to reset the simulation, but it's still corruption level 4 and there still is no way to escape. So now I'm stuck as the security guard with only crappy guns and a level 4 corrutpion with no supplies and can't get hers because she's by an electric trap. Why didn't it reset???

If you're on your last character the simulation should reset when you die, are you saying that you died with the engineer and it was your last playable character and you were placed back into the sim with the same corruption level? Like, you were resurrected or something?

Well I haven't unlocked the Mule Operator yet but I unlocked the engineer after the volunteer but when she died the simulation did not reset.

Once you get three characters you get the option to reset the simulation. At least from my experience.

If you only have two you have to get them both killed before you can reset.

No I understand it just not into the whole starting all the way over thing.

But you don't start all the way over. I think Rob went a little too far, but the point of Mooncrash is to play the simulation over and over, unlocking new things and uncovering new parts of the story. When the simulation resets you still keep your unlockables, your sim points, and all of your characters' skills. The game is set up so that sometimes you will have to manually reset. Sometimes you have to farm sim points. It's a roguelike.

You really don't start over. And the game keeps adding new obstacles and thigns to further you get. But you also get to keep your upgrades.

This is a roguelike. Can't do much about that.

I get that but the problem is my simulation did not reset at this death which means I'm officially screwed because it's Corruption 4 and I have no supplies or escape route which means I may as well just restart the whole thing.

This is a roguelike. Can't do much about that. I really wouldn't worry about not being able to reset. Just keep exploring. You'd be surprised at what you can find.

If you have no supplies or escape route, then just kill off your remaining characters. If you unlocked a new character, then you will need to kill off that character too. Or you could hit the reset simulation button, which I believe appears after you have unlocked your third character. The sim will reset but you will keep your unlockables and story objective progress so that you don't have to completely start all over. You literally cannot finish the game in one go.

I already refunded it because I was screwed. Corrutpion level 4 means getting one shot by mimics. No thanks.

It didn't reset that was the problem. And it was Corruption 4 and I had no supplies so I would have to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from scratch.
