Prey
MoonCrash..............
What on earth am I supposed to be doing?

Anyone post a link to some info as to what the hell I am supposed to be doing. I was wandering around on my second character collecting everything and per chance I found the Pilot nueromod thing, so off I went back to the shuttle except I got killied on the way. Wtf.
Second time I thought hey lets kill the MoonShark and again have a wandr around the labs seeing what I can find. Came back out into the crayter and lo and behold the shark is back and kills me.
If only I knew what I was supposed to be doing?

Firstly, your main goal is too escape with all 5 survivors in one run which is impossible to do without at least one reset. So I would recommend your early runs collecting neuromods and learning the layout, which will make your later runs much easier.
Secondly, the moon shark is very hard typhon to fight without proper equipment and powers. So try avoiding it until you get typhon mods and a decent amount of weapons. Since you may not be there yet I would suggest using typhoon lures to lure it away, another way to lure it away is throwing an object on the sand and heading in the opposite direction.

Hope this helps! The dlc is a little unforgiving at first but it’s really good once you get to the story objectives.

Possibly one of the most frustrating games I have ever played but also one of the most addictive.

I would prefer it if there was an untimed mode just for a bit of simple fun.

It sounds like you're pretty much doing it right. Your long term goal is to complete all the KASMA objectives, but what you want to start out doing is just kind of learning the layout of the area (routes, locations of recyclers, common pickup spawns, etc).

Once you do that a few times, the objectives will start to come naturally. I just kind of explored my way into completing most of them and mopped up ones that were more complex later on.

This has gone from frustrating to annoying now. I am trying to find the control box things to turn the power back on but search as I might I have found only one. What am I missing?

Control boxes are a random spawn like most items. There are probably ten or twelve sitting around the station each simulation. You can also find fabricator plans to make them yourself. Don't ever drop them, they have a nasty way of exploding.

If you're desperate, you can pull them out of functioning panels. So for instance, if Moonworks has power but Crew Annex doesn't, you can pop out the Moonworks boxes and slot them in the Crew Annex panel to depower Moonworks and restore Crew Annex.

Every Harvester carries one, too. Any kind of electrical damage will stun them and makes them trivially easy to destroy (I've beaten plenty of stunned Harvesters to death with a wrench). Be sure to aim for their back panels to avoid their armor or you won't do any damage.

Thanks, this is getting very tedious as you say there are twelve I think I know exactly where two are unfortunately one was inaccessable because the power to the area was not on.
Now I am baffled as to why the security guy cannot repair anything.

I reverse engineered one as the engineer and then made a bunch/bought a bunch with points at the start of a new cycle. Did that for quite some time until I found the fabrication plan.

Do not know what you mean.

The engineer has an ability called "reverse engineer" that you can unlock with a few neuromods. You use it on an item in your inventory, and it destroys the item but allows you to fabricate more of that item until you reverse engineer something else. You can even buy the item with points or fabricate it with other characters while you have it reverse engineered, even after resetting the simulation, as long as you don't reverse engineer something else. I used that to easily access control boxes for quite a while.
