Prey freezing/locking up computer
So I just bought Prey and I got to the area where you encounter the first enemy. I attacked it with my wrench and upon it's death, the game freezes. Attempting to minimize to close the game and re-launch lead to an unresponsive black screen and I had to hard reboot the entire computer. I heard that the crashing/freezing issue was fixed but I encountered it just about 15 minutes into the game. Any advice?

Specs:
Asrock Extreme 3 Motherboard
AMD FX8350 Black Edition
8GB DDR 3 RAM
Intel 120GB SSD primary drive
Seagate 1TB secondary drive
MSI GTX 970 100me

I fixed the issue actually. The game didn't like my HDD, the freezing was caused by textures not loading fast enough, so the game would render objects/weapons/enemies etc. as invisble and then freeze while catching up. I moved it over to my SSD and that fixed all the issues I had.

That should be default for every game these days
