Bellamy's bracelet in Trauma Center gone, 'The Corpse Vanishes' bugged? *minor spoilers*

I've just started the game from scratch again and I'm not sure what's happened with this quest; I think it's bugged. I've looked it up and haven't found anything so I'm just seeing if this has happened to anyone else.

I went into the Trauma Center and picked up Bellamy's bracelet (I've deduced that he's obviously not dead, or at least he's not here), did some other stuff and proceeded to Morgan's office for the video file main quest (next main objective is Calvino's Labs).

I recycled some junk and wanted to do some sidequests before moving onto the Labs. So I checked the quest log, which told me to go back to Trauma Center and use the Crew Log to see where he (or his bracelet) is. Obviously it's right in front of the computer, well it was when I picked it up.

But the quest is bugged or something because the bracelet isn't there (as I picked it up earlier), and the quest waypoint is right at the ground where it was. I assume you're supposed to pick up the bracelet and then something else will happen to advance the quest, or at least it'll say you can't do anything until later on.

And the bracelet is gone from my inventory. Evidently the game treats it as junk when recycling which is really annoying. I just went recylcle junk and some duplication weapons, I definitely didn't recycle it on purpose.

Is my game bugged or is this supposed to happen? If I stumble upon the next part of the quest (apparently you find an email later on which details his real location), will it actuall update in the quest log?

Tried quicksaving and loading and it didn't fix the issue either. Any help is appreciated!

If memory serves, you need to read the emails on the computer (one of them references Bellamy) in order to advance the quest

Never mind, I'm a complete dingus. I thought I'd read all the emails on the computer but apparently I hadn't. As soon as I found the one you were talking about it updated the objective to Psychotronics. The Crew Member waypoint still points to where his bracelet was but I can just turn that off. Thanks for the help man!

I think the bracelets are not too useful because they seem to default to "Junk" when using the recycler. I was upset about this at first but then realized that if I was already in position of the bracelet it's not as if I could track anything with it...... I wouldn't worry about that part of it.

Also- a lot of the quests can be finished by stumbling onto a later quest-goal on accident so even if you do get stuck, if you explore enough you'll likely get back on track.

I understand, I'm the same way. I personally tried to keep all of the bracelets and was rather upset when I realized that I had recycled all of them.
