Mineral Material

So I recently got this game and while it's not my normal type of game, I'm loving it. The only problem I'm running into is the scarcity of the mineral material. Everything else, I'm fine on (except synthetic material, but I still have more of that than I do mineral material). It is to the point where 75% of the time, I don't have ammo for the Margrave or the pistol. Like at all. And I don't even use firearms as my main weapons, I usually use the wrench and the kinetic blast, but I still have to use ammo, so that's where almost all of my mineral goes towards.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good ways at getting good amounts of mineral? I've tried using recycler charge, but no matter how many objects I gather up, I never get enough mineral to even break even with the 2 material that goes towards making a recycler charge, let alone make a profit out of it. I scrap the weapons I find and essentially everything that isn't ammo, psi hypos, or med kits. How does everyone else do it?

I have a lot of ammo but 90% cases I kill enemies with Wrench (with Psi slow time ability to max, also wrench damage to max, surprise attack perk, recycling more materials perk...)... And have bigger inventory to collect all junk I find. I go to recycler very often

recycler charges only yield good results when used against turrents or operators.

I have 2 advises for you: first - explore, loot, loot, loot, again loot and then recycle(most outcome of minerals coming from weapons - pistols, shotguns, etc.), and second - use your ammo wise - disable tiphons with shocker or GLOO-canon, and only after that give them some lead treatment - you deal extra damage for controlled enemy in a range specific for weapon - damage diminishment over distance is very big.Also some Typhons had resist from "kinetic damage" - like turrets? operators and technopats - kill them with energy weapon. .
I'm assuming you playing aggresively and wiseless, becasue i am had constantly 20 units of minerals into my inventory for Force Majeure and still killed every aggresive Typhon on my way.(and they ALL aggresive) I had 2 full stacks of ammo on way out from fabricator - 120 pistol rounds, 60 shotgun rounds, and ~450 units for shocker and 400 units for GLOO canon - and never got caught without ammo, and had used only mimicry from typhon tree of neuromods.
