Unable to access options menu

Okay, I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious here, but.... I can't navigate to the right of the "gameplay" options category. Tab only switches between subcategories under Gameplay (shift also does this), and the arrow keys (what I assume they mean by page right/left) only scroll/change the options in the subcategory. I need to access the control menu. I can't play. Please tell me I'm an idiot and point out the obvious thing I'm missing here.

edit: there's no mouse cursor visible... this is a bug, yes?

I found the solution in another post somewhere. Disable "always use controller prompts" in options>controls>controller. Keyboard buttons and mouse cursor appear. :)
