Glitch in the menu animated background

I've replayed all the game in search for some TalosPrinciple-like "simulation glitches" hinting about the Looking Glass Virtual reality (3.1 / 3.5) but the only things I found are glitches in the character creation (you can see the already red eyes in the glitches) and this:

What's that thing below? A projector?
