Fastest way to get no needle achievement?

Would the escape pod count if I use that for the achievement or does the game not even consider it an ending? Which path do you think is the fastest?

Incredible, wanted asked exact same question, it is the last archievement i need to get 100% completed archievements. Dont really want to play the whole story since Yu is very slow and weak and his weapons are weak too. I have leaved the tunnel and entered Arboretum right now.

So in answer on your question: I have read somewhere using escapepod doesnt count as game's ending.

So if someone know how to complete this fast as possible i want to hear too.

I have the noneedles trophy and 100% archievement of both Prey and Mooncrash, there isnt really a fast way. You can skip some side missions but you need to do everything what the cook want, when he opened the freezer you can kill him safelity. Otherwise you never find the transcribe of Abigail Foy which is in the freezer, which is needed to bounce on a window to let Daniella Sho appear and she will help you escape out Deep Storage after Alex lockdown.

No need to help Mikhaila (kill her as you want) and ignore Luther Glass cry for help in trauma center. No need to do whatever with the escapepod or going to Alex Yu private room. Forgot the blackbox project, dont do the psysic water sidemission since you dont have a PSI power.

A few more tips, get the code from the greenhouse as fast as you can, set sprinklers on, grab the piece needed for the cook and ingore the telepath and move on to crew quarter so you dont need to go back when the cook finally opens the door and ask you to repair something.

Set the game on lowest difficulty as possible, i believe thats "story".

Also, another tip, when entering Deep Storage, type your bracelet code (0913) in so Dahl cant follow you and you dont need to go back afterwards to Deep Storage when Dahl arrives.

Also, extend the bridge (for the space ship) and activate the grav shaft before Dahl arrives, otherwise it is difficult because soms stairways are broken and gravshaft is disabled and everywhere are blackbox operators /typhons around you.

I didnt enjoyed the noneedles run as some people write here on Steam. Almost the time he is really slow, and weak and have weak weapons. (upgraded all of them to lvl1). i cant run away, nor defeat myself, difficult to stay stealth.

I also recycled many things as PSI/Neuromods/Spare parts and create around 40 recycler since thats the most effective strongest weapon for me, but only in perfect conditions. Use a typhon lure and then the tele/technopad is really close to the floor i use the recycler 2 to 4 times and he is gone. For phantoms it is 1 or 2. depends on suprise attack or not.

I don't know a way to make it faster, but there is a way to take advantage of that if you're going for trophies. There is an achievement for doing one playthrough with only human mods and one playthrough doing only typhon mods.

If you do no needles and make a save near the end, you can get No Needles, then load your other save and pick up a human OR a typhon power, finish the game, then load the save again and pick the opposite and finish the game again as a fast way to get that achievement without needing to do three full playthroughs.

You could also try following the speedrun of the game. WR is like 7 minutes, so even when you're going really slow it shouldn't take more than an hour or two. It does use a lot of out of bounds tricks, but I think they all use the same technique, so once you get the hang of it it should be easy
