Playing no Neuromods
Playing no Neuromods, but can I repair? I need to do the blackbox quest, but to do that I have to fix something, which I can't because that requires a mod. So what do I do? Can I just not do that quest?

It is true you cant do the blackboxproject. Tick it off in your status so the sidemission will be ignored.

Why this weird comment?

He's a Bethesda fanboy. I wanted to replay this game without mods, but it's painful how bad the game is. It's clear it's not designed to be played that way, even though they sold the idea as viable. Bethesda is in general becoming worse at creative game making and focusing more on being a business like EA

It's easily viable (and I say that because I just finished a No Needles run).

You can't repair anything, so a lot of the missions are locked away. You can't expand your inventory, you can't open most doors and security booths. There are like.. 70% of all things that you can't do. It literally takes the fun out of the game

It's mostly for achievement hunters, no one would do that on a first run anyway.

It's just clear the game wasn't designed for it. I wish Bethesda had made it less of a pain in the behind to do. It's clear they haven't thought it through

Yeah.. It's not. I'm really disappointed in Bethesda. They've really become garbage as of late. Just look at their new Wolfenstein :steamfacepalm:

I could see it being a somewhat fun challenge. I waited until I was done with Hardware Labs before using my first neuromod because I liked looking for the alternative way around obstacles.

It seems less fun just hacking past every kepad lock when there's a code to be found or a nerf dart to open it for you instead.

wat. This is an arkane studios game, not a bethesda game. The game is still viable on nightmare with no neuromods. You wont be able to upgrade dmg on guns but chipsets can pick up the slack. And nades dont scale anyway so recyclers are always massive dmg, psi blocker is always optimal free shotgun blasts and the taser is also free hits.

Right, the game wasn't designed for it. Because of that it is one of the more rare achievements. You are ignoring the key mechanic of "leveling" your character but still you are complaining that the game isn't designed that way? Stronk logic.
Do you play a newer Fallout game without weapons and complain that it is "clearly not designed" for that and that the game is more difficult that way? No, you don't, so don't act like an idiot.

They literally marked the game as a choice based game. "You can even play without neuromods if you want to" That was one of the selling points you dumb she dog. So who's to blame when I play it like that, and find that it was a lie.
