Is Mooncrash worth it?
Hey guys

I really enjoyed Prey back when I played and it's one of my favorite immersive sims. I liked the general mechanics of the game which I'm hoping translate to Mooncrash but there are a few unknowns, and my biggest concern is that the DLC doesn't offer as much replayability as it is promising or that it features timed content which I'm not a fan of.

Overall, would you say it's worth it?

I like prey very much, Mooncrash bored me due timelimits. I like to loot and walk and look and take the time. Not hurry hurry until the clock ticks zero.

If i had buy Mooncrash first BEFORE Prey, i would ran away from it. But because i like Prey i want to play Mooncrash. Do i recommed it, mwaaa.....

So all the missions/sections in Mooncrash have a time limit on them? If so then I'll skip because I'm really not a fan of being rushed in rpgs.

Honestly, I liked it even more than the main game. I usually hate roguelikes, but Mooncrash hooked me. The time limit bothered me initially, but I realized it doesn't matter that much, especially later on when you get access to an a consumable item that pauses the timer.

Also, the "time limit" refers to the fact that the game gets harder the longer you're in a run. It's not like you hit the time limit and it's game over.

Ok that's interesting. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Well, once you hit the final time limit the simulation resets. So there is a hard time limit, but you don't permanently fail anything if you reach it. You simply need to restart the simulation.

I think it's worth it if you buy the bundle (20 USD) but not the DLC itself (which is 14USD atm).
biggest tip i can give if you do play: DO NOT HOARD YOUR NEUROMODS, USE THEM!

Definitely use them before the sim resets.
