Dahl ultimatum as I leave airlock to find the tech officer

Just found out where the tech officer is, but as I leave the airlock, Dahl messges that the people in Cargo Bay will die in 15 min unless I can save them. I don't have time to get to the tech officer first. Do I hurry to Dahl at that point or try an earlier save? Do I need to disable the tech officer first?

First save people. Then disable Kaspar.

Go for the oxygen system first to save everyone. 15 mins isnt alot. Dahl will be in the room too just kill or stun him as he will be there indefinitely

Thanks. I'll do that. Do I need to disable my ID bracelet first? I may try going back to an earlier save so I have plenty of time.

interesting, i disabled my ID bracelet asap. he then took the cargo bay crew in hostage as a retaliation (he wasn't able to figure out where i was), but i was already on my way to get kaspar, and had plenty of time to kill it and save the people

I did manage to disable Dahl and fix the broken thing. As soon as I left the shuttle bay, the timer started but he was looking away from me even though I couldn't disable my bracelet. I am trying to get to Kasper, but he is 185m away as I leave the shuttle bay air lock and travel through a mess of metal and combat dispensers shooting at me. I always die, though I did get within a few meters of him. I wonder if I should try from another airlock where he might be closer.

Finally found him out by the power plant, only because I recognized parts of Talos I had seen in videos or I'd still be looking. It was closer to the arboretum airlock, so I got back in there, much closer to my next objective.

Trimble you can check the station map to see exactly where he is. Thats how i found him since outside of talos 1 the location marker can switch

if you read the message from Yu's daddy in dahl shuttle, you learn where is kaspar.
for the military operator, you can use IEM charges or the stun gun/gloo gun, don't fight, disable them and run. In 0 G area you can pres run to boost strongly, beware to not hit something in the process.

ive noticed something else based on the order you do it
saving people first THEN going for kaspar will place kaspar in psychotronics where the looking glass calibration test is
going for kaspar first shows that hes in the exterior and if you killed everyone in the cargo bay room and havent given dahl the neuro surgery then kaspar will be in the neuromod div where the fake placebo helicopter is
