Where's the I.T. supply closet keycard?
I've been looking everywhere and I can't find it.

Spoilerish:
You have to take the "murder everyone" route in order to get it, and you will get a quest to finish off the people inside the closet from a character later in the game. The person with the key is inside the closet until that point.

One of the many mechanics sort of hidden in the game.

I've already beat the game so that sounds like something from Dahl. Ok well since I'm doing a typhon only power run but being saving everyone. Do you think its easier to get the locate all personnel achievment when doing a murder run or good run?
I don't shoot for achievements, but I am assuming that "finding all personnel" includes the people in the IT Closet, in which case I think it's impossible on a 'good' run. If it excludes them though I don't think it makes a difference. Killing everyone makes for a faster game since you're not really being careful to avoid killing mind-controlled people (and likely less stealthy too), so that might edge it up either way.

finding all personnel achievment is finding every person on and around talos 1 whether theyre dead or alive but the murder run gaurantees finding all the living ones.

Please spoil it further, I've just completed my second playthrough and I'm still wondering. Which person do you have to kill to get in there?

Theres a few people who locked themselves on purpose in the I.T. closet and come out much later on. Look at the crew member thing on a computer and track the living people in Talos lobby. Its one of the people that the tracker says is in the closet and when you find one of them out of the closet in the murder route, the others are nearby.

Kill everyone you come across, or at least make sure they die. You can spare Igwe I believe, but you have to make sure at least 36 (iirc) people are dead before Dahl arrives. When Dahl arrives, he will be more friendly and give you a quest to kill the remaining 4 people, at which point the one with the key will leave the closet. Use the tracker on a security cam to find him.

If you search the security cam for people in the Lobby at any point in the game before this, you will eventually come across 4 of them in the Supply Closet. One of them is actually walking around inside. You can see the icon tracking him behind the door when you have him tracked, pacing back and forth. He's the one with the key and his position changes when you get the quest.

The quest is called "Showing Initiative".

Does the glitch where you can walk through the door still work? I saw a vieo of someone spraying the door with a gloo gun then throws a recycler charge at it and then can walk through the door as if its not there. Is it still working?
Zekiran Dec 24, 2017 @ 4:41pm
It doesn't work, no. I tried that too lol. Next run I guess I'm gonna kill everyone in sight.

Ok I got another question. When the military operaters arrive and start killing everything in sight, would it work if I use a neuromod to summon a nightmare to fight them too? They would attack it first then it would forget about me to fight the operaters. It's possible right?
Zekiran Dec 24, 2017 @ 11:07pm
They DO play with any Typhon that comes along, yes, and they WILL attack a nightmare. That's ... crazy, but yes it will work. :)

Goooooood luck with that.

Ha I can imagine myself in tough spot then be like, "I'm in the worst situation possible and this can only help. NIGHTMARE I SUMMON THEE" then inject a neuromod and make it appear to distract the operators for me to escape. That would feel like being in a cartoon or anime.

It actually is very effective for certain ambushes late game, mostly one specific one in the lobby. Summon the nightmare and hit it with Psychoshock or a Nullwave then watch it tear the Operators apart while you snipe it with a pistol or throwables.

As for the question earlier of "Is the murder-everyone" run needed for the All Personel Achievement. Not. The achievement requires you to find all but 5 people on the station. There are 4 people in the I-T Closet and 1 person "Off" station that can't be found at all. I think it might require less, maybe 10 less then everyone, from what I heard, but no you don't need to kill everyone to find everyone. You DO need to kill Typhon though to get to some individuals, and loot them, so if you are planning on playing Prey pacifist good luck. They also do this for Transcribes and Emails to prevent people from getting locked out of an Achievement because of their choices earlier in the game. If you don't do No-Neddles all non-mutually exclusive achievements (Example is Push the Fat Guy (Kill Alex) and Save-Everyone) are obtainable without using save-games, at least I think.

I meant is it easier to get the achievment done when doing a murder run.

You can summon the Nightmare only by using that Transcribe obtained from the quest. Please note, this will consume one of your "Uses" so summoning it will give you 1 less oppurtunity to banish it. Actually useful if you want to summon the Nightmare to have it kill the MOs (Millitary Operators) then de-spawn it once they all are dead. Free loot, but uses 2 uses.
