cant seem to use Mimic Matter

just a quick question fellas

got the game for someone as a gift and we cant figure out mimic matter. ive looked all over google and no one else has the issue so we must just be missing something simple.

i unlocked and selected the ability from the wheel, hold mouse 2 on a glowing object and when i release, nothing happens. havent found a single object that i can turn into.

any help appreciated

Hey !

Mimic Matter has 3 level, basicly "little" "medium" and "large".

You start with the weak version, so you can only transform into little items, like a mug or a pen.

If you want to morph into a bigger intem (like a table) you need to unlock the better version of that spell.

Keep in mind you need to spend magic to morph + you will loose magick for each second you stay morphed.

i think it was some kind of glitch. turned it on today and works fine. but the turorial breakdown is still appreciated. thanks again!

Ditto. I can't make it work either. If you have figured it out since you posted this, I'd be really grateful if you'll tell me how to do it.

The tutorial says you need to hold Mouse 2 (which I assume is Right Mouse Button) and point at the item you want to mimic. But as soon as I touch Mouse 2 the Psi ability (the one that slows time) goes into effect and there's nothing I can do about it....that I've been able to figure out, that is.

I'm trying to mimic very small items because I am going to use it to get through a small opening. The smallest thing I've found I have no name for (some kind of tool), the second smallest thing is a book.

I wonder if I'm actually succeeding but haven't been aware of it because I can't see myself?

I just wonder, because a book is not as tall as a human being, and my height doesn't change and I can see my feet after doing what the tutorial says I'm supposed to do, so there's no doubt, it doesn't work.

Also, the Psi effect (greenish lighting) goes into effect, is that supposed to happen?

Finally figured it out. You have to open the Favorite Wheel, slide on to the "Cup Icon" - the Mimic Matter icon - and left click on it. That will change the icon in the lower left corner from Psi to Mimic (the Cup). Now you can follow the tutorial and change shape/mimic things.
