Good place for Mimic Massacre?
I've been achievement-hunting my way through the game for a while, now... I dunno how far I am, but it feels like I'm pretty far. I've been through most of the station, anyway. Just finished the Cargo-area, and entered Life Support.

Thing is, I still haven't managed to get Mimic Massacre, nor seen any suitable places for it. I've run into occasional mobs of 3 or 4, but never 5 at a time... and lately, there are fewer of them around, as more powerful and advanced enemies become more common.

Can anyone point me to some specific room where a large concentration of Mimics can be found?

(Now that I think about it, I guess I HAVE seen a room with 5 Mimics in it... the Employee Break Room in the Lobby. But I wandered in there early on, when I had neither the Psychoscope nor the necessary power to wipe them all out that quickly...)

Nevermind, stumbled on the perfect location shortly afterwards... for anyone else wondering: The Parts Storage in the Power Plant. Maxed-out Kinetic Blast does the trick nicely, but you could probably sweep them fast enough with the shotgun, too.

I have found that they don't like being recycled much.

Or that. :P I keep forgetting that the recycling-grenades can be used as an actual weapon too...

One advantage of recycler charges is that they don't rely on anything but densely-spaced mimics to work, requiring netiher any specific neuromod spending nor even a psychoscope. In particular, there are a number of places with mimics sealed behind gloo, where you can just shoot out some gloo, toss in the charge, and see if you got enough kills. I picked up the achievement pretty recently doing just that at one of those gloo-sealed locations. I can't recall which one, but I think it was rather early in the game.

Of course, you can get more flexibility with area damage powers, or maybe just a bunch of charges to throw around (perhaps hastened by combat focus), but in some places just one blast can do it.
