Prey
This or Fallout 4
I've kept my eye on Fallout 4 for a long time, but this game has taken me by surprise.
They're both the same price.
Pls help.

This, some mechanics are inspired from fallout 4 (example looting), and this is more optimized than any other game so ... Prey

Fallout: New Vegas. Watch some LPs of Prey and decide yourself, but I find it hard to recommend this.

First of all, guys, he is talking about Fallout 4 and Prey. Not New Vegas or any other games.

OP:
That depens.
Do you like to explore huge open worlds with tons of locations?
Do you like building your own settlement or just a house...or even a vault?
Do you like to spent hundreds of hours into a game?

Fallout 4 is open world, Prey is linear with a few open areas compared to it.

But in my opinion you can't really compare those two games.
Just watch some gameplay videos of both games.
I for one would go for Fallout 4 first. You'll get way more content for less money.

Fallout 4, while still a good game, is a crappy RPG. So if you're looking for something like that..rather buy New Vegas.

They are both good games and very enjoyable but Fallout 4 will last you a lot longer than prey.

i put over 100hrs into Fallout 4 then just got completely bored and lost interest, i havent finished the main quest or any of the dlc's. i pre-order the game and season pass and probly only put that amount of hours in to try and justify the purchase to myself coz tbh i never really got into it the way i did with the previous games which i really enjoyed. its not really bad its just kinda same as before with a building (settlements, vaults and robots) mechanic added which never really interested me.

Same here. Just that i didn't play it for 100h, rather 50h.

Fallout 4 engine is a pile of garbage. Stay away from that game unless you destroy the recommended specs.

I've got 60 in, I'm guessing I'm less than halfway through the primary quest. About once a month I'll fire it up and play for 30-45 minutes and think, "This is fun, I should play it more often." And then I don't touch it again for another month or so.

Huh, it runs great for me on an i5/GTX 770. What is garbage about the engine is the character animations, and that won't change regardless of your rig.

To the OP, if good character animations are important to you, don't get Fallout 4, as they're Xbox 360 level. Other than that, I think Fallout 4 is a good game.
