Achievement for nightmare difficulty?
Currently playing on nightmare difficulty but Im thinking of switching the difficulty down to hard/normal. Just wanna know if one of the hidden achievements on steam is for finishing on nightmare difficulty. anybody know?

There are no achievements for completing the game on hard or nightmare. Arkane have always been against this, even in the dishonored games.

Normal/Hard/Nightmare aren't really much different from each other - Normal compared to Nightmare nets you +1/+2 hits from 100 hp from most mobs before you die (and most mobs can attack pretty fast), but Hard to Nightmare doesn't even have that.
So you'll have slightly more/less powerful mobs with slightly more/less hp. That's about all it does, and the difference isn't even that big.

PS: Easy, on the other hand, is easy indeed - mobs become so weak that it takes them considerably more attacks to kill you.

So at the end, it only gives you the satisfaction of finishing on the hardest difficulty.
I just finished on Hard and it was hard on the beginning, but after acquiring typhon powers, leveling up the health and psi meter to 300 and combined with the psychic water, the game turned kinda easy.

Really? Why would you not have an achievement for beating the game on the highest difficulty.

I started my first playthrough on Hard but switched to Normal at the Crew Quarters, I couldn't take it anymore. The difference between difficulties only seems to be in enemy HP and damage and I found it simply tedious on Hard. The harder enemies, like special phantoms and the x-o-paths, are too bullet spongy and the combat system is too simplistic, which leads to the game placing too much importance on resource management (at least for my liking). Also the economy of the game is broken, with too much reliance on mineral materials for ammo for any of the actually useful guns and it becomes increasingly annoying when you start facing enemies that take 2-3 shotgun clips (depending on your upgrades) to take down.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the game more on Normal, because now I can actually advance at a steady pace, without getting pissed off and having to count my ammo when Typhon respawn in areas I just cleared.
I want to achievement for nightmare difficulty :steamsad: :steamsad: :steamsad:

How disappointing, like when you get an achievement for watching the credits. Wow, such a great achievement.
