BUG: Stuck on Reboot main story quest

I am currently stuck in the main story quest; Reboot. I need to find the NPC Talia Brooks in the coolant area of the Power Plant, but her body is apparently missing for me.

So do I have to start a new game? This is pretty late game as far as I know.

I've the same problem! It is pointless for me to start a new game - i am very deep into late part of the game
Can somebody fix this?

Same here. Her body fell through waay earlier in the game for me but i didn't think it would matter. Now I'm 20 hours in and can't continue

I found her body waaaay before the quest so if I load the newest save before that I'm gonna lose about 7 hours of progress lol

It appears this bug is fixed in the current beta patch of Prey. I contacted support about this before and it appears the only solution is to load a previous save. If you do not want to get the beta patch or just want to play it safe, interact with the body in the way that opens their inventory and pauses the game (preventing their body from falling regardless). If the body has already fallen though the only solution is to load a save sadly.

Seems that using the GLOO Cannon on the fire around her body causes it to fall through the map. At least on my end it did. Solution for now would be not to use it near or around her.

i realize this is an older thread, but i'm having the same problem right now. There's no body to the left of the door. I'm 20+ hours into the game at the moment. I did most of this area way before it was a mission quest.

Not cool.
