Does nothing. It's just to tell you that alex isn't wearing his bracelet so you can't track him on a security console.

Terminal in deep storage, the upper administration area.

Alex's code literally does nothing, he's not wearing his bracelet. Activating or de-activating Alex's bracelet does nothing.
Morgan's code shuts off Morgan's bracelet.
Grant's code activates his bracelet and allows you to find Grant's body.

Grant code 1129. Its mentioned in objective description. (Employee 1129)

Don't think Alex's code is revealed. His bracelet is next to the escape shuttle in Arboretum. Just pick it up then drop it somewhere you want a distraction. Or recycle it.
