Hostile Rani in Arboretum (Spoiler)

So in the arboretum there's a quest to save rani from the telepath i've tried a couple of ways to kill the telepath but i finally ended up killing it and freeing rani's mind but she's hostile towards me and the quest is telling me to talk to her, is there a way to make so she isn't hostile?

just kill the telepath, don't touch the npc's.

the same glitch happened to me but igwe and Ilyshin are hostile towards me in my office because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game spawned a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ telepath in the atrium.

ive tried just killing the telepath but it kills rani right away
