[solved] Massive motion sickness :( any solution?

So I am not sure what is up with the game, I set it to 120 FOV and 1920x1080 and I still get with in a few minutes the worst case of motion sickness, I have no idea why?

Hmmm something is really off, I have no idea what it is the game is giving me the worst motion sickness ever out of any game I have ever played. Even the FOV set at 120 which clearly works does not fix my issue I am not sure what the heck is causing it? The FOV looks perfect when set to high so I should have no problem.

I even turned of Head Bob to 0, something is really jacking me up ☹, if anyone had a similar issue and did something to fix it I be grateful for the fix so I can continue to play.

So far I really love the game and want to keep on playing but I can’t, which sucks. As an example I can play Shadow Warrior 2 in 5760x1080 or 1080p for hours and I never get motion sickness. So I really have no idea what the problem is.

Hi Valcan_s Umm Not yet have you used the NEW Optimised game ready Drivers ? those that support multicore and SLI they are removing the battle stuttering. Maybe its that what is bothering you.

Awesome, thank you I will try that out. Hmm maybe that is it I usually don't use AA for even that can mess me up on some titles. Cool, I will give it a shot, thanks again.

[Solved] Awesome! A massive thank you Anteruski, you own! So r_MotionBlur = 0 in the game.cfg file was the ticket.

This 100% fixes my issue, huh its crazy that motion blur post FXs can totally incapacitate me ☹ then my friends wonder why(or that I am insane) that I don’t use AA on some games for that close to motion blur effect just ruins my brain.

Anyways thank you so much I really appreciate the fix it 100% worked solved my issue! Its going to be a epic weekend, I have to say the game is really good I really love it.

Now if only they can get the FOV to work with 5760x1080 the game will be out of hand awesome.

I know its mental, I agree and the same with DOF but its not as bad as motion blur but still.

What blows my mind and I am a fellow game developer why on earth not add it as an option(On or Off) for motion blur, depth of field and FOV they all shoul be standard game options for any 3D game? Its something you have to set in your code anyways and almost every game already has made an option interface so why on earth leave them out? Any one that plays video games especially on a PC know how important they all are, it just seems crazy to me.

Yeah I have the new driver installed, the performance is really good turns out it was the motion blur that did me in. Other games with hard core stuttering have been a issue before but luckily with Prey its all good well for my comp config at least.

Thank you! I played for an hour with Motion Blur and it made me feel absolutely horrible. This should really be adjustable in game

Have the same problem. Prey makes me really sick, and unfortunately I own a ps4 copy, so I cant turn moition blur off. Sucks
