Screen Space Reflections/Black Texture/Bleeding Texture - BUG?? BROKEN AGAIN
edit: For anyone having this problem please use MTL5's solution, restart the game completely by quitting to desktop and relaunching through steam window after applying the new Screen Space Reflections settings. This should solve your problem.

EDIT AGAIN: The solution described above is no longer working. At this point I have turned off Space Screen Reflections completely. Hopefully the developers will implement a fix sooner rather than later. -5/11/2017

For some reason when I turn on Screen Space Reflections - all light effects become pitch black and if set to half resoultion the effect is distorted across the screen. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

my specs:
i5-6600k
GTX 1070 FE
1TB HD
128GB SSD
16GB DDR4 2133
Acer Predator 165hz 1440p

I read someone else have the same issue, did you update your Geforce drivers to 382.05? It's the new one that released today for Prey. Try that and if it doesn't help or you already did, probably the day one patch then when it releases.

Yes I just updated to the most recent drivers, clean install and restarted but still having the issue described. I do not have this issue with Screen Space Reflections turned off.

Thank you for the reply hopefully this will get some attention or a fix is in the works. I will attempt MTL5's solution and check back.

edit: MTL5 provided the solution to my issue. Thanks for the help friends!

The same issue with the Screen Space Reflection feature and with the last AMD Crimson drivers for a R9280X GPU...

I have exactly the same problem, I see only reflections when set on Full and some weird green pixels on Half resolution. It ruined my first impressions of the game because it looked like I was in some dark room and I was looking for a damn light switch lmfao

Had the same problem and this fix worked for awhile, but now it's back and it's not going away by adjusting the settings and restarting... :(

Sorry BobTheBeheader, I am also having this issue again as well...although it is a far cry from the save game corruption bug I was having which I hope to never encounter again

At this point I have turned off reflections as it seems to be too much to ask for a completely working title from the developers.

By the time they implement a fix I will no longer be playing the game..I hope others do not have to deal with the plethora of issues I have faced merely attempting to play the game.

What fixed this for me was reverting graphics to default settings and apply, then I changed them back to how I want them and the issue was gone, even with reflections at Full.

I just tried this and it worked after I did it while facing away from the weird lighting issue. I tried it twice so maybe if it doesn't work the first time do it again. It didnt require me to restart my game either.

Additional notes. I'm playing on borderless windowed.
