Incapacitate Dahl

SPOILER ALERT

after incapcitating dahl it showed "wait for dahl to contact you from the ship"

this never happens

i have fini9shed the game in the following ways

- activate the apex destroyer
- activate the self destruct and then stay on the station
- acticate the self destrcut then go to the shuttle without destroying january

the only option i have not tried is destroying january and then activating the self destruct

when i this objective supposed to be enabled

Sounds like a bug is making you miss objectives. After you incapacitate Dahl, you should get an objective that says take him to a med bay so Igwe can come pick him up. Then you've got to go to the neuromod division to take Dahl's mods out. After THAT it'll say wait for him to contact you.

He should contact you if you choose to blow up the station, after you've started the countdown.

ive had the neruomod removal bit
im just not getting the contact after starting the countdown
how long do you have to wait?

I thiiink, you'll get a, "Hey, we're at the shuttle." message before you activate the self destruct, and then a, "Get your ass over here" message once the countdown has started. If you wait too long you'll get a, "Sorry. Later!" message.
At least that's how it's SUPPOSED to work.

If you do the nullwave ending, you shouldn't get anything but the, "We're at the shuttle" message.

Coldhands has the right of it. You can only escape via shuttle if you choose to destroy Talos I, but if you've installed any Typhon neuromods, January will try to sabotage that option. You'll still have enough time to use Alex's escape pod, provided you've already got his card for it...

Incidentally, you don't need to extend the bridge to it from his computer. It'll make things quicker, but you can get up there with a bit of clever climbing. No GLOO required either.

I have a problem with this quest as well.
After initiating the self destruct, January talks with Mikhaila as Morgan, and after that the Dahl quest automatically fails.
Is there a way to actually complete this quest? I'm still stuck on the 'wait for Dahl to contact you from the Shuttle' objective.

^Sounds like you need to shut January up.

It is possible to make it to the shuttle even if january tried to stop you.
about 1:30 - 2 mins should be enough time and you still get a bit more than that.

It's tricky, but yeah, you can still do it. Well, you can if you have maxed out your Sprint and/or Combat Focus abilities. Otherwise, nope. Tried it.

Since proven wrong. You do still have time enough.

ITS NOT A BUG, January must die if you dont want Incapacitate Dalh mission to be fail. Otherwise January will diguise as you and lie to Mikhila that you abandoned them all and try to escape alone, even if you make it to the space shuttle.
