Using the console

Sadly the console is disabled ingame, but there is another way to do this with cryengine games that a lot of devs forget to disable. The remote console. Once its started it will automatically connect to a local instance of a cryengine game.
You can either get it by downloading cryengine via their launcher (it will be in the tools folder of the engine isntallation) or get it from my onedrive:

You can do fun stuff like turning of gravity everywhere :)

It also has autocompletion for most commands and your can search for them by putting ? in front of a phrase or get more information about them by putting a ? after the command.

You need to have CE downloaded first and the the file

I already had CE installed, but had to update to a newer version. Do I need to put the file in a specific directory though?

Put it on your desktop and then open it with ce and select prey

That is what I have been doing. Maybe I need to open Prey aas an admin? That seems to be something you have to do sometimes on Windows, even if you already have admin priviliges.

Hmm, to download this '' https://files. fm/u/gpaqdhef '' you dont need to make an account, I just checked it myself and I can download it without creating an account on Files.fm website, and the file is still up

I'd spelled it wrong, so it wasn't being found. Think I've got everything working though. Thanks guys.

Got the file, but my malwarebytes keeps stopping the CheatEngine and the .ct file isn't reading on my PC(it's running Windows 10). Any ideads?
