Nightmare typhon is too weak!
I passed the game at the maximum level of difficulty and killed 11 nightmares. There was no point in running away or hiding because they had powerful blows but very little health. Please make them 3 times more healthy or immune to psychoshock ability to make them a real challenge.

That would just make character builds that aren't based on combat nearly impossible.

I agree. As scary as he is, the Nightmare Typhon is not strong enough. When compared to the currupt droids which annoyingly absorb enormous, bullet spongy amounts of ammo, even with the maxed out weapons. The Nightmare seems weak and most of the time he gets stuck staring at a wall. I have to dart around in front of him for him to actually see me.

I wasted him in the Reactor Core. He's dead now.......

....I hope!

I love the game but at times I just find the combat and enemies disappointing.

Sure make those so though that non combat build are impossible.

Non combat builds have repair and hacking so you can finish "Mixed signals" quest.

The Nightmare is very strong. The problem is that it is also extremely stupid and frequently gets stuck on level geometry. If they scaled it down so it could get to more places it would be a real terror.

This. Nightmare really isn't strong enough. I usually get it out of the way with about 3-5 Recycler Charges and a few gunshots. Since Recycler Charges and ammo pretty much exist in abandon, it really isn't a challenge.

Pretty much this, with current size only works on arboretum and the lobby, you can still go to parts where he cant get through.
Speaking of wich, i saw in a trailer that the Nightmare can alter his size to fit doors, like a blob, that was pretty scary but im not sure if it was cut, or if its a bug and he is supposed to do it and currently cant. Fix that or put it back in the game and the Nightmare is pretty much fixed

That's why you shouldn't use bullets against Operators... They can be 1-shotted by a slightly upgraded disruptor, or neuro-zapped by wheatever that typhon power is, or EMP'd, or hacked, or avoided.

A lot of complains might be defused simply by improving his pathfinding and giving him one more move where after dashing to you, he casts for around 2 seconds and explodes for a oneshot in a 10y-15y radius.

Seriously, I have never seen such a big enemy cramped into such small combat spaces. Most of the times he doesn't even fit the room to get to where you are or he has severe pathfinding problems. And fighting him in those small rooms / spaces with kitable structures everywhere leads to the feeling that he is actually the worst alien dude when fighting prowess is concerned.

I had just fought one in the power-plant with the Q-Beam and it was just like fighting a Cyberdemon from DOOM. Strafe = Win.

Operators are worth hacking. They do significant ranged damage and make great distractions.

You can even just sneak up on them and hack while they're unaware. Or GLOO them in combat and hack them.
