Talos 1 Lobby - Psychotronics Safe

In the Talos 1 lobby there's a room leading to psychotronics that has a safe in it reading ERROR and the numpads are all X'd out. Is it only possible to hack this safe in order to open it ?

Yes, things like that can only be hacked.

Without seeing the game in front of me I can't be sure which one that is but if it's hackable it will have a hack value in the bottom right , pretty sure I have opened it.

The issue here is that it has no numbers. A code, if one existed, could not be typed in. This is how the game presents a door/safe as -only- hackable.

Just be rest assured OP that its just some items. Its not something unique, not some log or story useful item.

It should only affect you if your doing a typhon only run since you can't hack but some Computer are also only Hackable (as the password is covered with ERROR)
