The ending is terrible

You should read some discussions reagrding the ending.
I would say it's a quite open ending. You can have different interpretations.

In my opinion the boy die, he stays at the limbo for ever where his sister is and the sister is burying him, and she realize that her brother is behind her... that is my conclusion.

You must think about it. I love such endings. If you compare the ending scene with the menu you realise that both are dead.

Lol I enjoyed it so much, at first i was like wtf, did I restarted the game by mistake :p but then I was, OH ♥♥♥♥ he's in the limbo, the deepest stages of dreams where you never wake up from. :D Got surprised though ^^

Its a puzzler built more on that substance than story. Infact what with being engrossed in one puzzle after the next, i actually never gave a thought to any story to be had.

My only disappointment was it was short.

I think explaining the ending would have only hurt the game artistically. Besides to me the game was more about the world than the boy and his sister.

However, I think it would have been friggin awesome if at the very end, you come out right were you started and instead of finding your sister/girlfriend/whatever you just continue playing from the first stage all over again. It'd be TRUE LIMBO. It'd be the best middle finger ending ever.

Yeah this is what I wanted as the ending, at least it would give closure that it is never ending.
