Why don't you go cry about how you miss your start menu to Steve Ballmer eh?
Yeah, I'm rinning this on a laptop, Intel Core i7 4702MQ, Nvidia Geforce GT750M 4GB GDDR5, 12GB RAM. As for the software, I use Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa with recommended Linux 3.19.0-32-generic kernel. The GPU uses proprietary Nvidia driver, version 352.63. The renerer is OpenGL 4.5.
I managed to solve the issue though, went into settings and forced 30Hz and windewed mode, by setting both parameters to "true". Since I got past the original issue, I'll try enabling the fullscreen mode and try playing again.

I'm late to the party but may I ask you a question: How do you cap your games at 60 FPS? Is it possible with all games? Does it depend on Steam launch options or the game's config files? Thanks!
What this guy said. I had to manually edit the config file for Limbo.
