Game is not very hard. There are puzzles where you need to think, there are places where you need to act quickly.
Worst case you can just look at playthrough.
some puzzles need extreme timing and won't allow one mistake, which is the main reason of the hard difficulty.
there are checkpoints in each puzzle though.
Please, don't. Limbo is medium difficulty at best. Even if it was hard, what's the point of playing any game watching/reading a walkthrough? It's a stupid thing to do.
you forgot to quote this:
some puzzles need extreme timing and won't allow one mistake, which is the main reason of the hard difficulty.
by your logic, it seems that it's pointless to have a guide section in steam. strangely, there're a lot of guides being made and people are still using it. ;)
It mostly is a game that challenges your mind...

I'm pretty terrible at platformers, and I haven't found Limbo frustrating yet, but I am at a puzzle that requires precise timing that I've died like 30 times on, so I took a break. (It's the puzzle with dropping 2 blocks, the saw blade, and jumping up to a ledge. I think I know what to do, but just can't get coordinated enough to make it happen yet). This is the first real frustrating thing I've encountered and it's about 2 hrs in. I'm hopeful I can finish.
edit: No difficulty settings that I'm aware of.
