PS4 controller not registering

Limbo states it has full controller support, but I'm having difficulty getting the game to respond to input from my PS4 controller. It's plugged in via USB. configured within Steam (now that Steam has full support for the PS4 controller), and works great with other games (Cuphead, Refunct, etc). Any thoughts?

Steam's definiton of controller support:

Full Controller Support

Games with Full Controller Support will work without a mouse and keyboard on hand, from installation to play and beyond.

Partial Controller Support

Games with Partial Controller Support may require a keyboard and mouse from time to time, during installation or for limited interactions.

It doesn't say which controllers are supported, most compatible are those with xinput.

I had same problems with ps4 controller.
Bought a xbox one controler and now it works fine for all games that has controller support.
Not the cheapest solutioon... but hey at least it works ;)

Also having issues with my PS4 controller, causing some serious frustration playing through this game. Having to use the keyboard when certain jumps just aren't registering time and time again :(
