This game never worked on Windows 7 or Windows 8

I remember buying this game and it worked great on XP but once I upgraded to 7 it stopped working? something called Starforce Drivers were blocked by Windows 7 therefore the game could not work? same issue in Windows 8 too? Shame cuz I enjoyed this game.

I tried downloaiding the game from TPB (pirate bay) as a free download and same issue? windows 7 blocked starforce protection drivers and when I saw a patch that said it fixes if I tried it and still same issue?

Therefore game unplayable :(

I managed to find a working version for windows 8, but she pirate and Russian :D

russian? I would never understand it in russian I dont even speak that lol I hear Steam Fixed the issue though? Can anyone shed light on that and know if its true?

hey nevermore, did you purchase it from steam and download and install? if so? did it work ?

Win 7 64bit - I just tried the demo and get a "low video memory" warning followed by a glitched menu screen. There is a workaround of lowering boot memory to 2GB but I haven't tried it. Shame as I would have liked to play this I think.

the problem I had it it tried to install some driver and windows 8 and 8.1 would block it (some starforce driver) and then would not play? I have not tested the steam version though
