No cutscenes

I have no cutscenes... Anyone know how to fix it?

So no there is unfortunately no solution, but there is an idea which allows you with the correct assessment nevertheless between the missions the intermediate sequences to watch.
Someone has said that you can look at the intersections individually and then despite all the the story better understand, however, you must first look at the individual videos and record somewhere in which order you have to look them to fit the story.

Which cutscenes are you talking about? The pre-rendered CGI cutscenes (intro and outro) or the comic cutscenes (in between missions)? The CGI ones don't work for me either, but the cutscenes that look like a comic work.

Hmm weird, they work for me. I'm on Windows 7 64bit.

You could try the Unofficial Patch for HoAE, I'm using it as well and maybe that's why the comic cutscenes work for me.

no dice on windows 10. there is a video directory however i don't have a player that can play the files. anyone got an idea of a free one that can play the video files correctly?

For ease of access, I have put together a cutscenes Steam Guide, under Story or Lore. More easily navigable and can pull up while playing. This way I can use it on Steam Deck while playing.
