Why do people hate on players with low ranks?

I am MG 2 and i do fine in most PUG's but i get reported for being a low rank, i dont get it?!

people buy esea coz they dont want to play vs cheaters or with noobs. u are mg2XD playing with u is like playing with bot most of the time...

Because Low Rank shoud play MM or Faceit but not ESEA we play ESEA to get better Server and better Mates which can shoot on People without crying.

Rank doesn't mean anything based on skill. I'm nova 2 and can hold my own in esea

Lots of people on ESEA have low ranks... Because they dont play MM, my advice dont play MM for a month and when they ask for your rank say you're unranked and havent played MM in ages?

As someone who's played ESEA since the days where you couldn't even have Teamspeak, Skype, Mumble or anything like that running I think I'm worthy to post here.

I can't even play anymore because I get stuck with MGs, hell, I've even seen literally Nova 2s in my pug. At the MG rank you should be focusing on getting better at the game, a lot of MGs think they should be ranked higher so they blame MM and move to ESEA only to discover they're just not up to par with LE+ but during that time they lower RWS, ADR and W/L ratio for players who care about their stats and use ESEA as a platform to progress into the "pro scene". Although ESEA doesn't state a minimum rank requirement people (as you already know) have unanimously decided that LE is sort of the lowest rank that should be played in ESEA.

At the end of the day you pay like everybody else so I can't tell you to cancel your subscription as I have no right nor does anyone else but expect a lot of blocks and flame if/when you don't preform how you should.

Rayy is pretty dumb. As an ex-VIP at ESEA. I will voice an opinion from the ex-pro scene in CS 1.6. I use to enjoy having people who were considered "cal-o" in ESEA. Yes, I was cal-i and majority cal-p, but those people who were ranked lowered (there was no ranking like MM when 1.6 was around.. just your league experience would be the gauge) were the reason ESEA did well and made me enjoy the game much more than the grind in the pro leagues.
Join ESEA with an open mind, not to progress into the proscene. Your league matches will do more than your pug stats if you want to get in a higher league. (easiest way is to win the league, I've won cal-im, cal-m, and cal-p as I speak from experience)
Any and I repeat any rank should join ESEA. The problem is people like Rayy that make the CSGO scene toxic (not much has really changed from 1.6, or online gaming in general. everyone is an elitist).
Just keep improving Th0r, and enjoy the game.

If being honest makes me toxic then sure I guess I'm toxic lol just because you're some washes up ex-wannabe-pro doesn't doesn't mean you know the current state of ESEA. What I said is the harsh truth but go ahead and give him false hope.

Sorry I typed that from my phone so ignore the double doesn't and "washes" instead of washed. To elborate to Th0r, I'm not toxic nor do I hate any low ranks in ESEA but at the end of the day ESEA is a platform for people who do want to progress and get better at the game. But that level of getting better applies to people who are at the top of the game (if not very close) not to the people who are Master Guardians who still need to grasp basic CS (Aim/gamesense/map knowledge etc.) all which are present in ESEA pugs and not knowing/having that is going to annoy your teammamtes. Don't listen to Bauer, he comes from a time where CS wasn't as big as it is today and he clearly hasn't been active on ESEA for a long-time. I know people who went to cal-im too but it doesn't mean they know how modern ESEA is, not what it used to be.
