I was gonna use this to make a few games and then maybe buy the full version, but then i saw that you can only make 4 frames. I kinda want this to change. I think that this version should be limited but not THAT limited. It's pretty much useless now that I've figured that out. All the other limits make sense, but please, Clickteam, remove the frame limit.

I already have the CF2.0 (alias MMF2.0) and its basicly the same without newer formats-support. So i tried this "Free" version and began to build a small Game with it, which you also can download if you click at this picture/Link:

So first of all, you dont really have a tutorial so you should know already best how this editor/Game creator works - since i know the older ones (which are basicly the same), it took me ~6 Hours to created this tiny game.

So i basicly what i "tried" was a little "endless Arena" Shooter. The problem or better "limits" did i found as i was building:

- First of all, you have a limited number of "Objects" you can place in one frame, which makes it hard to actually create "great games" with this Free version (which i think is the reason the full version exist~)

- You cant use any Sounds or Music (which is kinda sad)

- I didnt tried but i bet you also have limited Number of Frames/Levels you can create (since my Game only needs 2 Screens i cant actually tell)

- You can only use the "Basic" settings of format(s) and co in this Free version

So for "tring" out the creator, its not so bad but they should at least tell you how many objects and co you can use before you go build something and you get the message in the middle of building the game.

If you play my game, i show here that youre really able to do, at least, a little time-waister.

When I downloaded this software, I looked through a few tutorials by 3kliksphilip, and made a simple game. Even though the game I made was very simplistic and had bad graphics, I was very surprised by what I had created in only a few hours! I'd just have to put in a little more time and effort to it, and it'd almost be a real game!

This game is highly recommended for those who want to start making games but aren't familiar with coding with text. It is not hard at all to make something decent with this software, if you only put time in learning the basics of it. Only problem is that the free version is a little limited, but it's still a great way to see if you really want to start using the software for more serious purposes (I know I do!).

Extreme downgrade from regular edition. I know that's expected, but it's taken to an extreme here.

Trial version for one of if not the easiest game making software's.

2D but the full version supports a (paid) rudimentary 3D engine.

Want to make a quick game and doesn't want to write extensive lines of codes? Then you might want to see this program,
It is so easy how you can make a game with it.

Give It a try, It's a free edition, anyway.

8/10. good engine for making games, but the frame limit is annoying, plus i cant even get the way too overpriced versions cuz i dont have enough money. again still decent tho (also wish steam had a meh option for the do you recommend thingy)

Great software to learn to make a game to share to your friends. If you put effort into it you can actually make a good game that can sell pretty well. :o
