Hello everyone and thank you for checking out our game! We're really excited that so many of you gave Erratum a try, and we will be releasing our first update soon to help provide you all with a smoother gaming experience.

However, before we get there, HERE ARE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT TRANSFERING OVER CURRENT SAVE DATA:

Context: There were a few issues we encountered about being able to carry over current save data into future updates. If you have already downloaded and played our game, if you update the game without going through this process, your save data may be reset. We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience, we have already made sure that this will not occur again in the future.

Please follow these important steps PRIOR to updating Erratum:

• Navigate to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Erratum\\Erratum_Data\\StreamingAssets\\DataFiles

• Copy the two files named "collectible_state_data.json.enc" and "game_state_data.json.enc" to somewhere else, possibly your Documents folder (don't copy "dummy_collectible_state_data.json.enc" or "dummy_game_state_data.json.enc"!)

Once the update is out, please follow these steps AFTER copying your save data:

• Update Erratum

• Navigate back to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Erratum\\Erratum_Data\\StreamingAssets\\DataFiles

• Copy the two files named "collectible_state_data.json.enc" and "game_state_data.json.enc" back into this folder

• Open the game, and your save data should be saved!
