How do you update PunkBuster? I am new to this
use this: https://www.evenbalance.com/pbsetup.php
good luck
First, update your PunkBuster manually by visiting the PunkBuster website. Download their setup utility. Keep that setup utility because if PunkBuster drops Medal of Honor 2010 you will need this to keep your PunkBuster working for it.

Next, you need to navigate to your Medal of Honor Multiplayer installation folder. This is usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medal of Honor\MP"
Once there, look for a file called "mohmpupdater.exe." Right-click it and click "Properties." Click the "Compatibility" tab. Then check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator" and then click "Apply." Click "Ok."
Now double-click and run the "mohmpupdater.exe" file and let it update your game.
Also run the "MoHUpdater.exe" file in the "Binaries" folder. It's located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medal of Honor\Binaries"
"MoHUpdater.exe" will update the single player portion of the game and update some other files the multiplayer portion uses.
Now run the multiplayer part of the game and everything should be working. You will need an EA account to log in, but if you didn't buy the game on EA then you'll have to link your Steam and EA accounts through the EA website and then contact EA to have them manually add your Steam version of the game to your EA library. You need to make your Steam profile public and not private during this process. They usually ask for a screenshot of your Steam receipt for the purchase of Medal of Honor 2010 to add it to your EA library. You can view all past purchases in your Steam account and view the receipt for it. After it's been added to your EA library for your EA account you should then be able to log in with your EA email/username and password to play multiplayer. There is a bug that prevents you from logging in if you check the box "SAVE ACCOUNT INFO" so don't check the box. Just enter your EA account password every time and you'll be able to log in. There is at least 1 server that is full at least once a week so keep checking back. Good luck. (After the game is added to your EA library you can then make your Steam profile private again.)
Addendum: You can greatly increase the graphics quality of the game manually by following the instructions here. You would have to edit the .ini file in a text editor to manually increase the graphics quality. You can't adjust these settings from within the game and the default installation keeps the settings on low graphical settings. The .ini file is usually located at: "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\Documents\EA Games\Medal of Honor\Config\MOHAEngine.ini"
Here is a link which has instructions:

I submitted 8 different tickets to EA Help, just to be able to make them add the game manually to my EA account but EA Help is awfully ignorant to this problem and keeps directing me to pre-written instructions on how to redeem the game code.
If someone can inform them about this problem, it would be appreciated by a lot of people who just want to play multiplayer without any problems. Game is on sale now but most of the people don't know they won't be able to redeem their game codes to play the multiplayer. :/
I was able to get them to help me easily just by joining their live chat support. I got a representative on and explained I needed the Steam version of Medal of Honor 2010 added to my EA library so I could play multiplayer. They asked me to link my EA and Steam accounts first which is done through the EA website. You also have to make your Steam profile public and not private during this process. Then I returned to the live chat and they asked for a receipt of my Medal of Honor 2010 Steam purchase. After that they manually added the game to my EA library. Only had to do this once and it was pretty easy. Try getting on their live chat support or call them. (After the game is added to your EA library you can make your Steam profile private again.)
Have you seen their FAQ guys?
Classic games
Some of our classic games cannot be redeemed on the EA app or Origin and can only be played if you still have the game disc. Those games include, but are not limited to:
