Painfully small UI. Way to change it ?

I play on 1980x1080 (16:9)
is there any possibility to change the size of the UI, without changing the resolution ?

you can always increase the bar to a larger size and have more slots. just drag it to the far side of the screen. that is one of the beauties of pc version compared to console version.

All the FTG mod does is change font sizes for various menus. It doesn't actually resize all the main HUD elements.

The HUD's party member portraits, for example, are basically useless at 4K resolution. They're so small that the health bars are nearly invisible.

There are 2 issues with this game on resolutions > 1920x1080.
1. UI is tiny and fonts are tiny

2. The hotbar on the bottom is not properly drawn and hotkeys don't work

Three years later, same problem, same thread. Sadly the original link does not work any more, nexusmods seems to have restructured their urls. I don't know why everyone pushes the FtG UI Mod so hard. Yes it lets you change font sizes, but the issue is actually that the scaling for EVERYTHING is crazy small when you go 4k. Its super sad this game hasn't and will never get the treatment it really deserves.

i agree
im only doing 1080 and this mod only changes the text and codex NOT tooltips
which are so tiny I cannot read

like PRESS i for inventory is super TINY
if I click CLOSE the word close is huge but the portraits and bar and tooltips are all tiny even trying to change tips with this lame mod which does not work for anything but speaking and codex.. ugh help?
I dont want to refund the game but Im old and Can NOT read this or see
and this isnt at 4k just standard 1080p

note this is the same font when loading up the game
you load a save and the description of the save and the names are all tiny also
this mod doesnt change this... at all

The FTG UI mod is good enough for me, but if you really need better UI scaling, try using dgVoodoo2.

1. Copy all .dll files from \MS\x86\ folder of dgVoodoo2 zip to \bin_ship\ folder of DA:O
2. Set DA:O resolution setting to 1280x720
3. Configure DirectX settings of dgVoodoo2 to force resolution to 1920x1080 or higher

well no no
its just certain things that arent touched by this mod at all
again like the HELP TIPS on the bottom right

or the launcher or even the load menu and main menu etc..
all are terribly small but the smallest for sure is the tips like this is how to give a gift etc
these boxes arent touched by any font/ui mod and ive tried 4 now.

and im playing at 1920x1080.
cant play non wide on a wide screen looks like a mess

The nexus page of the mod says this:

Note: Those tutorial popups aren't tooltips as such but I'm working on the rest of the UI still.

Seems only the tutorial tooltips aren't scaled but all the tips in normal gameplay are.

Sorry for the necro, but I just requested a refund because of this very issue. The mod that was supposed to fix this issue was made in 2010 and is designed to deal with 1080, not 4k resolutions.., go figure...
