You will need to install the character respecialization mod[dragonage.nexusmods.com]. This adds a raven to various towns and areas of the game and if you talk to it and select the option to take the vial from its leg, drinking it will reset all of your attributes/skills/talents.

Besides mods, I'm not sure there is a way to revamp your character entirely in Origins. I remember there being books that could have the same effect in Awakenings, but I'm not sure if it would get rid of your starting skills (e.g. Dirty Fighting for Rogues, Arcane Bolt for Mages, etc.).

In The Black Emporium DLC you can buy a respec potion for around 1.5 gold.

Err... Sorry, but this thread is referring to Dragon Age: Origins, Awakenings, and their side campaigns. You're referring to Dragon Age II, where the Maker's Sigh potion allows you to redistribute ability and attribute points.
yeah, i compulsively gather resources, when i saw I could collect dry lightning and different elements and all i compromised too much for the fun with the tactics and variety of spells, i want to do some roguish stuff and more mage stuff, i can't believe i collected again, im sure you know what i am talking about,
The DAO raven potion in question works well. I changed my mind after level 8 and wanted to go the dual wield warrior route.

WORD OF ADVICE: When used with companions such as Alistair, it REMOVES his Templar abilities and you cannot relearn them without "gazing into the ravens eyes", another dialogue prompt for the raven. Also, make sure to redistribute their starting stats the way they were before, otherwise why even have them as a companion...I mean whats Alistair without his Templar background??

Does this also work with Class Specializations?
