Otherwise, some of my favorite's are:
Polygamey: Allows you to romance multiple NPCs at the same time (though you miss some "catfights" and bickering between party members. Might not want to use this until later playthroughs).
Teleport: Adds a mage spell in your talent tree, which allows you to teleport to a certain spot visible to you. This is especially invaluable when you want to backtrack some mines in the awakening expansion, but can also be used to "skip" a certain annoying puzzle in the "trials of the gauntlet".
Baldurs Gate II Redux - Module 1 Irenicus Dungeon: This is still a BIG project in the works,to recreate the game Baldurs Gate 2 in the Dragon Age engine. The first dungeon has been released and is playable. Rather than suggesting that you download this though,I suggest that you just keep an eye on this project for now until it'sreleased (yes, it's still being activelyworked on).
Skip the fade: You shouldn't use this in your first playthrough, since it's actually pretty fun to play through the fade the first time imo, but it does get tedious after you have made multiple characters.
Extra dog slot:
Allows you to bring your dog in addition to your 4-man party.
Lock Bash:
Readds the feature to bash locks, that the devs decided to remove at the last minute before release. Good if you don't want to feel forced to bring a rogue.
Make console commands visible:
If you ever feel like activating the console in DA:O,you will quickly notice that you can't see what you type in the vanilla game. This mod fixes that.
DAModder: My favorite mod manager for DA:O. Can't get much easier to install mods than this.

Not on the nexus, but it makes morrigan actually look like the concept art, hood included :)
I've until only recently added mods to Skyrim, adding mods to DA:O seems to be a different story. I'll try to figure out how to add those mods myself. I'll keep you updated.
And again, a big thanks to you 3.

Recommended especially if you think that the vanilla game looks a bit too "blurry" for your tastes. This sharpens the edges and textures of the game, among other things (personally I prefer to run it without the ENB modification, but might just be me). Make sure to install this last though, after you have made sure that all the other mods are running as they should, since it is a tad bit trickier compared to the other mods that you can just throw into the DAModder.
Am I supposed to leave everything in the folder or not? I'm looking at Improved Atmosphere at the moment. I think I succesfully installed the Dragon Age Redisigned, using the Dragon Age Origins\Noncompanions with the .exe file in there.
"2.6. Merchants: Modified the stock of certain stores. Also made merchants sell some items found in "Items".
You need to choose only one version:
- In the "Default Buy from Player Values" you will find stores that only have modified stock. Price ranges remain the same as in vanilla. (Revised in v1.3.)
- In the "Modified Buy from Player Values" the stores have modified stock and price ranges: 35-65% (merchants with fewer funds [e.g. taverns] will offer less for your goods). Only "buy from player" stats have been changed. (Revised in v1.3.)
Requirements: Gold Material, Tints, Items."
That is, you delete EITHER "Deafult Buy from Player Values", OR "Modified Buy from Player Values".
I have currently got those mods installed (And not yet started the game, so I hope this WILL work out)
Dragon Age Redisigned
Character Respec Addon
DAO More Hairstyles (Used CharGenMorph Controller to merge .exm files)
Extra Dog Slot
Healing Received Fix
Lock Bash Awk
Lock bash
Morrigan Restoration Patch
Improved Atmosphere
No Helmet Hack
Pineappletree's VIbrant Colors
Teleport (For some reason this shows twice in the DAModder interface)
Annoyance Remover
White teeth
Natural Bodies All in One (Because why not?)
Make Console Commands visible
I used Natural Bodies All in One by using DAO Mod Manager, by dragging the file, installing it and using the config for the settings.
I'm going to launch the game now, and create a new save. Hope everything will work out just fine.
EDIT: Restarting computer first, for just in case.
I just love Alistair as well! I haven't installed the hug mod (yet). I've installed Equal Love, Active Alistair, Alistair Kisses, Anyone Can Marry Alistair, and some side-mods improving overall performance such as Improved Atmosphere, White Teeth, Natural Bodies, No Armor Hack, Vibrant Colors and FaceGen Morph. The latter was necessary due to 2 separate CharGen files which could cause conflicts.
BUT. I'm sad. I convinced Alistair to rule beside me but the game crashes even before the fight with the Archdemon. I'm installing everything all over again and look for conflicting files.
if your game crashes at certain spots you can always try to lower your graphics settings.. it usualy works.
