Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

I need a Rogue.
I'm a dual-wielding Warrior, probably about 25 - 30 hours into the game. I have Alistair, Morrigan and Wynne in my party, but I decided I needed to replace Morrigan with a Rogue. Here's the problem: Due to my ignorance and actions that i've made in the past, both of the available Rogues are dead. Leliana was in Lothering which blew up or something, and I killed the other dude. Is there still a way to get a Rogue in my party, or am I going to have to restart if I want a Rogue? Thanks in advance. ;3

Your rogues are toast. You won't get another one until Awakening.

Right... So can I import my Warrior into Awakening? Or am I going to have to start that from scratch? Sorry if that's a newb question, I only just started playing recently.

That's alright, you'll probably need to start again if you want a rogue unless you want to cheat using the console commands but I don't know how to activate the console on steam. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_(Origins)

You can import your warrior or start from scratch, heads up though awakening is kinda just a clustered extended DLC, so if you just play the story its about 8hours.

Alright. Thanks for the info, guys.

If your character died sacrificing him/herself then you have to play a new character in awakening and I would suggest not killing off Leliana and Zevran since you will see them (spoiler) in Dragon Age 2 if they are still living, you'll also see Allistar if you didn't kill him off too.

actually awakening was a solid 30 hours if you do all the side quests etc etc and if you just rush through it well thats your bad and youe not playing it correctly. the core game though ive dropped a solid 80+ hours .

Actually, you can play awakening with your old character even if you sacrifaced yourself. A pretty big plot hole one would think, but the devs commented that they saw no reason to stop you, if you had the deire to. You will just have to make up some reason as to why you magically resurrected yourself :)

I know there is a mod that adds "cheat items", one of them being a ring that when used, allows you to change a characters core class (so if you want alistar as a mage, that's perfectly doable, although it might not make any sense from a story perspective). Unfortunately though, I can't remember the name of it... I do have it installed myself, but its a bit hard to find the specific name for it in the mod list since I have a LOT of different mods by now.

WAIT!!!!!! If you need a rogue for an archer or dual weild, you an use the respec raven mod. its very easy to use, also ifr you need a rogue for stealing, poise making, etc. You can set warriors and mages to do tht aswell.

I wanted it mostly for Lock-picking and having a stealthy side to my party's attacks.

Well, stealth is only available to rogues, so for that you'll definitely need one.
However, for lock-picking there is a handy mod: http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/mods/301 which allows your non-rogue characters to "force open" doors/chests which otherwise would require a rogue.
