Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Lost in Dreams quest
This quest has ruined the game for me so far. I was quite enjoying playing, had a nice 12 or so hours put in. I even enjoyed the lead up to this quest.

Now, I haven't played properly in months. Because whenever I load up the game, I'm reminded that I'm stuck in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ brown dream world where there is no enjoyment. None of the party combat, just crappy annoying puzzles in this drab, boring environment I've spent a good few hours trying to get through.

Seriously. Is there any quick way to do this ♥♥♥♥ quest?

Well - If you coming to the end of this, you will be re-joined with your party. Every party member has to be "pulled out" their personal dream by you, but at the end you will have an intresting battle, where you need them all...

I agree it is an slow part, but I personally like solving that puzzles. I personally never skip this quest, because I like the forms I can change in, and use that to progress..
I powered through it earlier. Finished it, didn't appreciate it.

i enjoyed it the first 5 times but after that i just downloaded the the skip the fade mod, with the mod you still get the all the extra stat points you would get if you ran through it from the "ghost" pedistals.
i looked up walkthroughs for this and they all say pretty much the same thing : wander around and get the different shapes to change to and then wander around some more.
the ones that give detailed instructions on how to solve it seem like just random babbleing and i didn;t find them very helpfull.
after i solved it by just stumbling around, i could understand why the detailed instructions were just scrambled statements, the puzzle is solved by just random rambling and there is no easily described CORRECT way to solve it.
each tim i go through it i have no idea how i solved it the last time and it's like the first time through it again.
maybe i'm just dull witted!
I think pretty much it was go through each dream to get all the forms, then go through each dream again, but the the paths with the Massive Doors you require the golem for.

Probably just me that enjoys the fade lol. I thought it was a nice break from the rest of the game but it does slow the pace of the game a lot and can be slightly confusing the first time.

Seriously? I just rand through it for the first time the other day, and I'm not sure why you're having trouble with it. You need to go through each nightmare, find and rescue/defeat each cursed dreamer to get their forms. Then use said forms to complete each nightmare. WHen you do the first ring, you then go to the exterior nightmares shown on the pedestal screeen. After rescuing your companions, and defeating all the demons, the way to the center is open and you're rejoined by them to fight Sloth

It's not that hard, it just takes awhile. Eventually you get your party members back. And there are a lot of stat boosts spready throughout the fade as well as codex entries.

As slow as the Fade is I can't help but feel giddy when I turn into a golem and punch those filthy mages in the face.

A testament throughout the ages: Booger likes the fade.

Loved it years ago, and found myself enjoying shifting through the forms on Nightmare difficulty. I wished you got to keep the forms, the Golem is lots of fun.
