Is there a way to keep highlighted useable objects always on?

I think it's the tab key.

Keep highlighted, as in persistently highlighted without having to hold down the tab key.

Though, I guess it doesn't matter at this point. I'm used to just holding it down for hours now while playing the game.

I am hoping someone will have a real answer to this. Holding down the tab key is cramping my pinkie LOL... I've tried several things to do this. I've tried the mod, but it doesn't work exactly like just holding down the tab key. Rigging the tab key up to where it's "stuck" in the pressed position works, but everytime I hit shift for anything the game goes to the steam overlay. I've considered rebinding the highlight key to another key that will not have any other effect while being rigged down. By rigging it, I mean fixing something small in between the key and the edge of the button well to cause it to be physically stuck in the down position during play. I wish someone would simply make a mod that allows you to use the highlight key by toggling it instead of pressing it. I think that would have been much more useful. This issue with this game is that clickables can take any form, so you can have two instances of the same object and one is clickable while the other is not. So, if you are playing, it is very easy to walk right past an interactable object without any indication that it was a point of interest. I'm hoping someone else reads this and has found a more convient solution that works well enough to be useful

Maybe if you tried rebinding it to the Caps Lock key?

Nope, that's only changes to to holding down caps locks key.

The binding is for "On Pressed" keys not on toggled, so toggling on caps lock isn't going to keep it active.
