Chasind trail quest

I'm doing the Chasind trail quest in the Korcari Wilds, and I've followed my map to the first X and pressed Tab, but I can't interact with the marker in any way. I read that this is a bug that sometimes occurs. Is there a fix? Thanks.

Edit: Well bloody hell, my problem was that I forgot how to play Dragon Age! I was thinking you had to get nearby and press an activate button, but you actually had to hover your cursor over it and click. Never mind, friends! Problem solved!
