Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

If you're buying the ultimate edition, disable feastday gifts and pranks
Just do it before you start up the game. It completely breaks an approval system that wasn't really all that healthy to begin with. It ♥♥♥♥♥ over the game balance with some broken items and all the gifts cost 0 copper.

I guess if you like breaking the game it might be for you, but it's still the stupidest DLC in the lot.

Or you could just not leave any gaps with your characters. Making everyone like you is not particularly hard.

The DLC cuts out the actual character interaction part of character influence.

or use them to make your companions go -100 to +100 makes for some real intressting conversations! Or how about having half of your companions be in love with you and listening to them complaining about the others. Loved the gifts dlc but i dont recomend them for your first playthrough

I mostly use them at the endgame to get the stat boosts for when they're on their own.

I definitely agree. I read this when I was trying to figure out how to give gifts to party members, and not only do I think it spoiled something, but it also boosts people +50 which is completely ridiculous, since they can go from hating you to loving you in less than a second.
