Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition adding nexus mods
Hi, I have the ultimate edition and it does not seem to work with nexus mod manager, if anyone has figured out how to either use the mod manager or a work around to add mods, please let me know.
Thank you and so far I have had no issues with the game.

Hi there. The nexus mod manager only added support to dragon age not too long ago, which means that there are a lot of mods on there that doesnt necessarily like playing nice with it. I would suggest using DAModder instead when you mod DA:O. Dont worry, DAModder is possibly even more userfriendly than NMM:

Just launch DAModder, download the mod file, and drag and drop the file into the DAModder window. It will then install it for you (If the DAModder starts complaining, it might be necessary to open the file with winrar, and then drag all its content into DAModder to make it work). There are a select few mods that needs a very special installation procedure though, so as always, remember to read the readme.

If you encounter any problems, please list the specific mod and I will see if I can give you more specific instructions.

Thank you Amycus, I will try that, from what I have read, the file set up in DA:O ultimate is not quite the same as DA:O, some of the folders have been re-named or do not exit.
I will give DAModder a try.

Most of the mod files are dropped into the override folder or use DAupdater for DAZIP files. DModdder is good too and some mods require using it.

Use the override folder that's in the BioWare folder not the one in the Steam folder.

I'm greatly enjoying DA:O Ultimate Edition so far. I picked this game during some sale earlier this year.

I manually installed most of the mods or used updater with the game for those DAZIP files.

I wonder if it is possible to verify the mod was installed correctly? Those mods requiring updater will be listed in Downloadable content section. Is there any way to check if manually installed mods, ie. copied to Override folder, are working?

I installed several mods, DModder worked for some of them but not for othters. I can't seem to get beautiful bodies to work at all.
I have a more serious problem, I can't get out of Lorthrin. I can go down the bride to where it should let me gather my party together and journey on, but it stops there, tells me its saving game and will go no further. Is there a critical quest I haven't done perhaps? did all the ones on the chantry board, rescued the guy in the cage.
